One of the main missions of Buffalo Base, United States Submarine Veterans, incorporated is to support the preservation and upkeep of the USS Croaker (SS/SSK-246). For those of you who may not know, the USS Croaker is part of the Historic Naval Ships Association. It is on display and open to the public at the Buffalo & Erie County Naval & Military Park in downtown Buffalo, NY.
